Mathare slums is normally a very dark place during the night. The choice for light and fuel is non-negoatiable. Many village families cant afford the installation of electricity and therefore result to buying and using tins made lamps. As a result so many develop eye infections and other related diseases. Through our partners, ABWA provided homes with alternative sources of light and fuel. The number of people ABWA supports, however, continues to grow and ABWA is continuously seeking for partners to help in giving the mathare slum dwellers with safe alternative sources of light and fuel
