ABWAWORLD - We have dedicated our resources to ensuring that while with us, the young people in Mathare slums get a chance to identify and nurture their talent. Currently we are engaging over 60 children and youth in drawing, painting and curving.
Our Objectives
By engaging them actively in such activities we are sharpening skill and ensring that they identify with skills and knowledge that will in the near future be translated to put food on the table. You can join us in imapcting hundreds of children and young people by donating items such as paint, books, modelling clay books and any other. We are also open to volunteers and cash donations. Your contribution will help us imapct more children.
With crimes, drugs and prostitution being the everyday enagements around our slums, ABWAWORLD has openly offered our youth groups with opening to better not just their lives but by transforming their societies to places of admiration

We see every challenge as an opportunity and Mathare area being the largest slum in East Africa after Kibra slums. People here live under a dollar daily making life unbearable. Prostitution, crime and lack of many amenities are at a very hoigh rate in this area. Our project, MATHARE YOUTH GROUP, seeks to address these the many challenges the youth in this area go through by introducing projects and programs that favour a much justified source of behavior change.
Get Involved
Through our projects- Garbage collection, Car wash, Music Production, Bead making and more. Volunteers get the opportiunity to visit the youth, engage with them in the various projects and later on visit the homes where they get to spend time, sharing meals and talking(counselling)....
